3 Steps to Travel That “Wows”
Here’s how your XOOM Tours experience comes together:
Step 1: Discovery Call
For custom escapes, I first want to “meet” with you either over the phone or over a cup of tea to dig deep into the experiences that will fit you perfectly. I’ll first have you fill out your short “Plan Your Dream Vacation” form, and then we’ll schedule your complimentary consultation session.
During your session, I’ll ask questions that will help me design a journey uniquely tailored to you. We’ll chat about dream destinations, your past favorite trips, any passions or interests you’d like to incorporate—plus logistics like timing and price preference. You’ll also get a good feel for whether we’d work well together!
After you determine that we’re a good fit, you’ll receive your Custom Travel Planning agreement to sign along with an invoice for my planning fee, which starts at $250 and varies depending on the complexity of your trip.
Step 2: Design Your Journey
Next, we’ll move into the design phase. This is when your travel dreams start to take shape!
I’ll work with my network of worldwide travel partners to craft an experience that fits you—and I’ll think of every little detail, no matter how small. This includes:
- Guiding you to the perfect destination, one that fits with your particular travel style, interests, and passions
- Thoroughly researching your destination options—saving you hours of time scouring the web
- Crafting a custom itinerary that finely balances “must see” and “must do” attractions with more under-the-radar experiences that give you an authentic taste of your destination
- Refining your itinerary until it feels like your perfect escape
- Booking every element of your journey for you, from flights and transfers to special tours and dining reservations
