WOW! What a night! Last Thursday I hosted more than 40 friends for the 1st of 3 Virtual Travel and Wine Tasting Events and it was a hit! Below you’ll see how much fun we had and hear the details for our next tour this Thursday.
We boarded our safari cruisers and explored South Africa and Uganda. You can’t help but notice these countries are filled with adventure, beauty, wildlife, breathtaking scenery and sun-soaked coasts. Who wants to see this firsthand? I know I am ready!
So, here’s your chance!! I am excited to take a group of 10-12 adventurous travelers to South Africa in June of 2022. It’s going to be spectacular! We will be visiting Kruger National Park (Get your cameras ready! Keep your eyes peeled for animal sightings!!), Victoria Falls (Breathtaking!), Cape Town (hanging with the locals for some memorable experiences), the wine lands (tasty!), safari cruising and so much more. Are you ready for our next adventure? I am!! This Thursday, June 25th at 8 PM EDT we will be venturing on a river cruise! River cruises are the hot bucket list vacation right now for several good reasons. 1) River cruising is on smaller ships that sail on rivers, not oceans. 2) They voyage on the inland waterways—rivers—of Europe, Asia, Egypt and the Americas. 3) They stop at river ports: often the region’s oldest and most colorful towns. I can’t wait to share with you some really amazing destinations that can be explored through river cruising.
I think one of the highlights of river cruising is the opportunity to explore the charming, historical towns and cities in the various ports. In some areas, a river may even be the only access. This means that we as travelers get to travel directly into the heart of small villages and get an insider’s view of exotic locales otherwise hard to reach. Some of my most memorable traveling experiences are when I hung out with the locals and learned more about their culture and heritage through their eyes.
Because river cruises have fewer passengers, the vessels are able to procure a treasure trove of local produce, seafood and meat for onboard meals – food is often fresher and more regionally inspired.
